Responsibilities:
Provides direction and assistance to staff and while adhering to Federal regulations, policies and procedures.
Responsible for new employee selection, employee development, performance evaluation, coaching, corrective action, and all manager related administrative functions.
Develops staff to maximize resource productivity to ensure defined business goals and objectives are met.
Assesses training requirements and determines individual training needs.
Responsible for job assignments, training, and cross training.
Maintains knowledge of all departmental functions.
Maintains comprehensive knowledge of applicable systems used in daily functions and operations.
Advises staff on difficult procedures and complex decisions.
Compiles, analyzes, and prepares reporting data on volumes, hours, and staffing for tracking, trending or planning purposes.
Monitors various reports to ensure productivity.
Analyzes workflow and processes to identify and implement improvements to gain efficiency.
Coordinates the documentation of all processes and procedures.
Represents leads the department on various committees, projects, and initiatives.
Performs all other tasks as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required OR 4 additional years of related experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
6 or more years of financial services experience.
2 or more years of direct team lead or management experience required.
Advanced in Microsoft Office applications and applicable systems.
Broad company-specific and industry-specific knowledge.
Proven ability to build effective cross-functional relationships with employees of various levels throughout the organization.

Preferred
Experience:
Accounts Payables operations experience.
Experience with workflow for Disbursements Support exception tasks (Tax Disbursements, P&C Claims/Life and FSB Disbursement Exceptions).
Experience with compiling, analyzing, and preparing reporting data on volumes, hours, and staffing for tracking, trending or planning purposes.
4 or more years of leadership experience.
Experience with PeopleSoft or Oracle Cloud SAP.
Experience with Corporate Card/Concur SAP.

Compensation:
USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive.
You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market position.
The salary range for this position is:
$66,300 - $119,500 ( this does not include geographic differential it may be applied based on your work location)Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance or at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors.
Geographical Differential:
Geographic pay differential is additional pay provided to eligible employees working in locations where market pay levels are above the national average.
Shift premium:
will be addressed on an individual-basis for applicable roles that are consistently scheduled for non-core hours.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
