Inspector Level 2

L.B. Foster's wholly owned subsidiary, Inspection Oilfield Services (IOS), provides inspection and tubular integrity management services for the upstream oil and gas industry. Services include non-destructive testing, inspection, and other asset integrity services such as repair and threading for OCTG and drill tools. Inspection and testing of these products, which include replaceable and reusable products such as casing, production tubing, drill pipe, directional motors, drill collars, and related equipment, is a critical preventative measure to ensure personnel and well-site safety, enhance efficiency, and avoid costly equipment failures and well-site shutdowns. The Company offers these services in every major oil and gas producing region throughout the United States

We are currently looking for a Level 2 Inspector at our Leming, TX location.
Essential Functions:
Must perform and report findings for QC and NDT inspections Ability to coordinate with contractor's and client's staff, communicate effectively with all parties.
Verify the implementation of contract documents
Produce inspection reports and maintain detailed records of work performed
Prepares and monitors internal HNTB project controls for field personnel as assigned.
Produce and maintain punch list as assigned.
Mentoring and training of staff as assigned.
Recognizes complex problems and assists in bringing to resolution.
Proficient in applying standard inspection testing techniques and procedures for the verification of material
Able to read and interpret complex plans, specifications, and shop drawings as assigned.
Performs standard mathematical calculations as assigned.
RequirementsSkills, Experience and Education:
Previously certified to SNT-TC-1A in one of the following methods:
Magnetic Particle Inspection
Liquid Penetrant Inspection
Ultrasonic Inspection
Magnetic Flux Leakage
Detail oriented and good communication skills
Required Experience:
Level II Inspector with , EMI, VT, VTI and OCTG experience
Other Requirements:
Inspection: 5 years
Required license or certification:
Level 2 Inspector
Oil Country Tubular Goods (OCTG) to API Specification 5CT
Used Drill Pipe Inspection
Used Tubing Inspection
Drill Tool Inspection
Must able to work any shift. Must be able to provide proof of all certifications Ability to multitask
Must have a strong understanding of commercial and government specifications Must have a good driving record and be able to access various bases, customer facilities and yards

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
